If you truly give such a self-righteous shit about someone like Alexis Brown being in the metal community, why don’t you at least mention her band, Straight Line Stitch.
And maybe, just maybe, people aren’t down with her because the band’s sound is hit-or-miss. Maybe her presence in the community, as an artist, has been affected mostly by her and hers’ craft.
(I’m not) sorry about going on about this, but condemning a whole sub-culture - especially a sub-culture I have an ongoing history with - to be guilty of a mentality so many in the community have championed AGAINST really rustles my jimmies.
