TO ALL DOG OWNERS: About a month ago, I posted this pic of Corgnelius surrounded with all his treats. I immediately got a message from someone saying that there’s been reports of Canyon Creek products making dogs sick. Not wanting to chance it, I threw all those treats away (X’ed out in the picture). I’m glad I did bc yesterday they officially recalled all their products. If you have any CANYON CREEK or MILO’S KITCHEN products (very popular in LA, they’re front row in every dog store), throw them out immediately or go to your local Petsmart/Petco for a refund. Spread the news around to any dog owners, bc there’s been a lot of reports of dogs getting seriously ill or dying from these treats.

Waggin’ Train is included in the recall as well! Protect your pups!

…I’m. Kinda still like that. Though I offer my left (non-dominant) hand for them to sniff first, assuming an owner of some kind isn’t there to ask first. 

I was in a bad mood for one reason or another when I met my new neighbor and his Newfoundland dog. When he charged over for a pet, my mood instantly took a 180.

Adopt An Animagus of the Day: The ten-year-old black German Shepherd best remembered for playing Sirius “Padfoot” Black’s animagus in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is in need of a new home after his previous owner, stuntman Paul Thompson, was forced to give him up.

“I found myself spending a lot of time away from home,” Thompson says. “The dogs needed more attention then I could give. It was a difficult decision to make but one I had to accept was best for the dogs.”

Berry — or Shadowberry is you’re not into the whole brevity thing — is available for adoption along with his “best friend” — a German Shepherd-Lab mix named Porridge — through the UK-based German Shepherd Dog Rescue.
