Am I the only person bothered by Morinth’s quote here? I mean, the dialogue in this sequence is pretty bad, but the line about “genetic destiny” is as confusing as it is groan inducing.
Seriously: How is being unable to reproduce a “genetic destiny”? Thats basically a dead end for a species. The only explanation here is if she can actually be fertilized, but kills her mate, thus ensuring that only Asari are left in the universe or somesuch? But even then, that’d kill genetic diversity, which is also a dead end.
Not that multi-species fertilization makes a lick of sense anyway.
Or, you know, she’s just crazy.
